What do you do when your prayer is answered?

Wow! What a question, have you ever thought about this? What do you do when your prayer is answered?  Secret is out in four words, be grateful, give praise.

If anyone would tell you the shortest, surest way to happiness and perfection, they must tell you to make it a rule to yourself to thank and praise Divine for everything that happens to you. Most of us take for granted many of life’s blessing that is all around us. There are so many things to be grateful for! Birds singing, butterflies fluttering by, sunshine pouring its energy on earth, trees and the shade they provide, clouds for their beauty and their rain, the bounty of Mother nature that feed our physical, emotional and spiritual bodies, children playing, the love of our friends, the comforts of modern living, the coolness of breeze, etc. One could go on forever listing things for which to be grateful. These things and more are all evidence of answered prayers.

Yet, surrounded by this beauty and love, we often rush through our busy – busy day neglecting to be grateful for it all. We can take the time to be more grateful. When we cultivate feelings of thanksgiving and gratitude for blessings we help to spread more happiness. We need more of that spirit in our homes, in our daily associations, in the communities, everywhere. It doesn’t cost anything and it so easy to cultivate. So let’s begin practicing to be more grateful and praiseful for everything.

When our prayers are answered, we should give praise and show gratitude.  Do you have an attitude of gratitude? Are you truly thankful for all that God has done, is doing, will do in your life, world & affairs. My mother and father taught me that when someone does something for you, you should be grateful, give thanks and show appreciation. God is constantly providing. God is all sufficient, God doesn’t need our thanks however heartfelt, but when we are grateful to Him our attention is concentrated, for our highest benefit, upon the Great Source of all supply.

Really prayer, gratitude & praise is for us. Prayer creates states of mind and makes choices that rule our world. Since prayer brings alive the loving state of mind, then prayer is a force with which to be reckoned. Prayer or treatment releases the highest form of energy because it connects you with the energy of God. Prayer deals totally with God and its vast and limitless power. That is why you should be grateful for answered prayers – because an answered prayer is evidence that you have changed and grown for the better.

Did you know we increase whatever we are grateful for and praise. oh yes we do!An attitude of gratitude opens our consciousness to all the blessings God has showered on us. It attracts good and multiplies joy and happiness. Praise is gratitude in action. What you praise comes into your life for your good. What you criticize stays in your life at the level of criticism. Which do you want? Giving thanks for everything that happens to us permits it to flourish and evolve for our highest good.

As you move into that space of gratitude, share the bounty of the answered prayers. Practice with H.I.P. Coaches this month #generosity. Stay in the conversation and let your life be a blessing to all those around. H.I.P. Inspirations are available to support you always.
