Criticizing is easy. Doing something constructive takes courage.

I was watching Super Soul Sunday recently and heard Dr. Brene Brown talk about the concept of being in the ring ( the arena). She explained the courage and tenacity it takes to stand up and have a voice with a face – simply to stand in the ring. Without this she exclaimed “you don’t get a say”.

Here was another ah ah moment for me. Not only do I need to step up my game by getting in the arena for my life but I can also practice to not criticize other people’s arena. Those around you should be free to design and make their own life – to live out their dharma.

It is truly amazing to step back and look at how busy our lives have become.

Sometimes the more I try to clear the plate so to speak is the more things get added on – it like magic (smiling). There is that constant need to be engaged and entertained to keep the caffeine pot brewing for fear that sleep will cause you to miss out on something.

As you probably notice the successful companies of our time are those that are technologically advance. They are getting the attention of consumers in “real-time”. Apps for smart phones are coming on the scene at a rapid pace, all the appliances in our homes are being synced. People are generally becoming more and more anxious about being on the cutting edge and not being left behind.

“H.I.P. people have release control of being the general manager of the universe. They trust that there’s a divine plan unfolding for the best for everyone. Be H.I.P. Trust that the universe has got your back.” ~ Coach T

We are not responsible for everyone in this world. In fact a lot of times we even have no control over our own lives. I believe that there is something much greater ruling this world, something that cannot be described in words and cannot be fully understood. Some call it God, the universe, life.

We do not have to take on everything that is going on in the world as our responsibility to fix. Things happen to us and to those that we love and care about, but still we do not have to make it our business to attempt to fix everything that happens. Some things we cannot fix, we are simply going to experience them – both good and bad. Taking it upon ourselves to carry all of the weight for everyone we care about is not healthy. We cannot carry the burdens of other people and we cannot fix them either.

Healthy, Inspiring, Purposeful people know that if they don’t let their light shine, they will never be a shining star. Be H.I.P. know that you are a shining star, no matter who you are, shining brightly for all to see. Shine baby shine. ~ Coach T

My wonderful husband has these habits that at once would drive me up the walls but then when I asked myself “what would I do if one day these habits went?” I decided to really breathe them all in. Yes, it is a process to look beyond the appearance but this is a process I have consciously chosen to fully experience every step of the way.

Our mutual relationship is one of supporting each other to evolve into our best selves. This requires being pushed beyond the comfort zone. This dedication more often than not allows us to confront the frighten parts of our personalities and to simply be with what is seeking to emerge, a necessary discomfort for the evolutionary relationship that we both seek to express.

Many people have been taught that the way to happiness is by adding.

They spend a great deal of time and energy in trying to add all they want to their lives, thinking that the more they add, the happier they’ll be. Today I want you to take a different approach, instead of adding, BE and SUBTRACT.

This month our hearts are bursting forth with fireworks of joy and love.

We invite you to light up your own life with an explosion of joy and laughter as you release the inner splendor that will allow you to sparkle. Sparkle by listening to and following your intuition (your heart) and challenging your b.s. (belief system) to push pass your seeming limitations.

Joy is Your Soul’s G.P.S – Guidance Positioning System. Obey your soul by listening to your heart. The heart leads the way to a broader deeper understanding of both ourselves and others. It brings our attention to the subtle aspects of life and directs us toward a more creative, more loving, more healing approach to life.

This month our hearts are bursting forth with fireworks of joy & love.

In July we invite you to light up your own life with an explosion of joy and laughter and release the inner splendor that will allow you to sparkle. “Sparkle up by plugging in”.

There Are a grand total of two ways to do things. Whether you’re looking for a job or having a conversation with your BFF, whether you’re making a smoothie or plans for a European vacation, you are either doing what you’re doing with the resources of door number 1 or door number 2. Door number 1, the drug of choice for most of us, means doing your life, your daily activities with the power of your own resources. You make decisions based on the thoughts within your own head, with what you know so far, with what you’ve learned from your parents; from school, from the news. In a nutshell, its using resources of the past.

Freedom, spontaneity, love, joy, all require great discipline.

Discipline does not mean forcing ourselves to do something or refraining from being involved with some negative action. Discipline means looking beyond the appearance, beyond that which is visible and acknowledging on Infinite cause.

When there is no discipline in your life, you are busily reacting to the world, to whatever it presents to you. If you are pleased when something that you consider good happens, you are still giving power to that good and it is then controlling you. When you are unhappy because a problem comes along you are reacting to this appearance and thus are not free to be your self.

How often have you reached out trying to grasp that fleeting feeling of elation?

If you are anything like me you perhaps spent a life time or two. Reaching for the highs from circumstances that brings the sensation in your life and surroundings. In fact for me I was driven to pack on the accolades, attend the ceremonies and take on the roles that would bring the feeling.

Unfortunately, it eluded my every attempt to hang on to it. Needless to say almost everyone around me was experiencing the same predicament. The excruciating pain when one’s partner failed to arouse it was unbearable. Time after time I lifted myself from the bathroom floor disappointed that this one, this oh so special one did not turn out to be my JOY. Someone has my joy and I needed to find it, “where are you I kept pursuing.”
